Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis was not just a hit with GOP voters who watched last week’s presidential primary debate.
His winning performance in Milwaukee also resonated with conservative donors.
According to the Florida Standard, DeSantis’ campaign netted more than $1 million on the first day after the debate.
As the Tampa Free Press reported last week, a group of 775 voters surveyed by the pollster FiveThirtyEight.com before and after the event rated DeSantis the clear winner.
