President Joe Biden is losing support in the key demographic of urban voters, according to polls and data.
A recent New York Times/Siena College survey found that 56 percent of voters who live in cities will back Biden in November's election. In 2020, 66 percent in the same demographic cast their ballot for Biden, according to Pew Research.
Elsewhere, election analysis website Split-Ticket reported that there has been a 15-point swing toward Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 Election in terms of urban voters compared to 2020, based on a conglomeration of surveys from April.
Biden relied on the strong urban support in the last election to help him beat Trump in 2020. With the 2024 election just over four months away, the suggestion that Biden is losing city voters could potentially be another red flag over his reelection hopes.
