Former President Donald Trump appears poised to make New York competitive in the 2024 election, a recent survey has revealed.
Typically a left-wing bastion, New York has not backed a Republican for president since 1984, though Trump has repeatedly touted a "heavy play" for his home state this cycle.
Biden led Trump in the Empire State 47% to 39% among registered voters in the latest Siena College poll. In May, Biden led 47% to 38%.
