Democrat Rep. Charlie Crist (FL) is the projected winner of Florida’s gubernatorial primary, topping the state’s Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried.
And in the Senate, Democrat Rep. Val Demings (FL) has won her primary, and will face Republican Sen. Marco Rubio (FL) in November.
With roughly 92% of the votes counted, Crist has a 25 percentage-point lead over Fried, ABC News reported Tuesday evening. Crist has about 60% of the vote, compared to the commissioner’s 35%.
